<p>수원화성은 정조가 아버지 사도세자와 왕권 강화목적으로 지은 도시이다.</p>
<p>이때의 기록들은 화성성역의궤에 기록되었는데, 이 덕에 1950년 한국전쟁으로 심각하게 파손된 화성은 1970년대 복원될 수 있었다.</p>
<p>또한 이 기록물을 인정받아, 복원유산임에도 유네스코에 등재가 되었다</p>
